INGREDIENTS:
2 eggs
1 1/2 cup applesauce
1 cup chocolate milk 1/4 cup maple syrup 3/4 cup oat flour
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup chocolate chips
DIRECTIONS:
1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x9- inch square baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
2. Prepare the Wet Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, whisk the eggs until frothy. Add the applesauce, chocolate milk, and maple syrup. Whisk until smooth and fully combined.
3. Combine the Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, mix together the oat flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
4. Mix the Batter: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring gently until just combined. Do not overmix.
5. Add the Chocolate Chips: Fold in the chocolate chips, reserving a few for sprinkling on top if desired.
6. Pour into the Pan: Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish, spreading it out evenly with a spatula.
7. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 25–30 minutes, or until the center is set and a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out mostly clean (a few moist crumbs are fine).
8. Cool: Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for 10–15 minutes before slicing into squares.
